Objectives Of Shubh Lagan Divyang Foundation
The society aims to work with the most marginalised members of the community and help create a safer environment for all children , especially vulnerable children, and to provide support and encouragement to help improve their living and social conditions, through rights based and ethically sound education, empowerment programmes, vocational training, protection and care and financial independence initiatives in order to help them recognise their importance and value as a responsible individual within civil society.
- To establish, maintain and / or run studentship, scholarships and render other kinds of aid to individuals including supply of medicines, books, stipends, medals and other incentives to study without any distinction of caste, colour or creed.
- To provide help to the needy, the destitute, physical handicapped people and the poor, without any distinction of caste, color or creed.
- To establish and/or grant aid for the establishment and maintenance of parks and gardens, gymnasiums and sports institutions, tube wells, wells and water works for supply of drinking water and for the constructions of and/or repairs to wells for the use of public in general.
- To establish, maintain any grant aid to homes, orphanages or other establishments for relief and help to the needy, the poor and destitute people, orphans and widows and persons depending/requiring dire social assistance for society.
- To aid or establish such other charitable, social, educational, research, art and cultural institutions and/or activities of general public utility as the trustees may in their discretion deem proper.
- To aid or undertake schemes for, the relief and support of poor, education, medical relief and the advancement of any other object of general public utility not involving carrying on of any activity for profit.
- To grant relief during natural calamities, such as famine, earthquake, flood, fire, pestilence and other occasions of calamities of similar nature and to give donations, subscriptions or contributions to institutions, establishments, or persons doing such relief work.
- To establish one or more public schools, colleges, institutes camps etc. for imparting education to the students in general without any distinction of caste, creed, color etc.
